Was this, perhaps, not the day I should begin my attempts at writing a query letter? Is this a warning? Shall I weather ship, shorten sail, batten down the hatches?
(And I was nearly late to work trying to get this picture.)
Eeeeek, that is all I can say. Words fail me. Query letters are so much harding than writing a book. Good luck with yours. Keep me posted because I'm so ready to read your book.
That is a BEAUTIFUL PICTURE! Man all we had in Portland was clouds clouds and more clouds. Big hugs and props for the Q letter. As always you'll do fantastic!
It was spectacular. My camera is a point-and-click. Too bad you weren't there to capture it with your camera and artist skill. But, then, perhaps it would have been sucked into the fiery vortex.
What a spectacular photo. It would have been worth getting to work late.
ReplyDeleteI don't envy you writing a query letter. I'm doing similar things at the moment. And I thought writing my novel was hard!
All the best.

ReplyDeleteThanks. I'm still working on it. Carolyn J. Rose said not to forget the "inner journey" in the query. Oh boy. Back to draft #12.
ReplyDeleteYeah, but I'd wait for a red sunset. I think you have to listen to the messenger.
ReplyDeleteYikes, I hardly ever see the sunset. Maybe I could go park on an overpass this weekend.
ReplyDeleteWow! Great shot! Looks like a hobbit is about to throw a ring into Mt. Doom or whatever it was. Thanks for getting out of the car.
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your query letter. You'll do great.
